There's no better way to put this. When the light bulb flicks on, you'll fall right out of your chair

I still can't believe nobody's doing this. Why hasn't anyone thought of my idea? I know what you're thinking, and it's not what you think. I've done my due diligence here. I've scoured every online and offline resource I know of. I've asked every one of my friends in high places, and not one of them has ever heard of this idea. I know it sounds pretentious and downright annoying to be talking like this, but I seriously don't get it. Could I really be the first person to think of this?

I can't exactly say much about the idea right now (but I promise more is coming soon). All I cay say is that it has something to do with WordPress, and it's what I've been wanting for years. There are a lot of reasons to become an entrepreneur, and money is probably the worst of all of them. I don't really know how much money I'm going to make off of this. I'm just really passionate about my idea. I'm more interested in using my product than making money from it.

Because nobody seems to be doing anything about the problem I want to solve, I have no other choice but to take this into my own hands (and the hands of my contractors). I mainly feel this way because I really want to use my product. I think it would remove a bunch of headaches in my day-to-day website work. Everything about it excites me. I genuinely feel like this is uncharted territory.

So I've entered into a headlong rush to get my product built. I've hand picked my team of great minds to assist in the development. It's definitely been a challenge to get the right people onboard. I've gotten used to seeing the glassy eyes of those who don't quite seem to get it. But then there are those few… when they put two and two together, it's like this switch goes off in their heads. They sit back for a bit and they say,

This I like… This I really like!

I know! That's how I feel! It's so difficult to fully communicate my enthusiasm, but I just keep charging forward with the hope that the right people will get it soon enough. We entrepreneurs are always excited about something, so I understand why people might take a defensive stance at first. It's like any new idea. You've gotta make it acceptable and cool before everyone else hops on the bus. I just want to find the few people who judge ideas objectively and come to their own conclusions -regardless of how popular they might be.

I know they're out there. I've met them, and we keep in touch. It's going to be a long campaign before this idea takes off. I guess I've also come to grips with the possibility that it might fail, but it's only an afterthought. Frankly, I'm just too excited right now to think about anything else.

I honestly don't understand why nobody is doing this.
